Having also completed a manic summer of festival dates, Snow Patrol are heading off on a tour of America. The Mercury Music Prize nominated band are also appearing on America's best known talk show, but singer Gary Lightbody admitted to Radio 1 he was worried about the upcoming TV spot:
Lightbody: "We start in New York on the David Letterman show, which obviously we've never done before and it's one of those landmark things. I'm nervous my trousers will fall down or I accidentally might be sick live on air, just all the crazy things that may go wrong and generally do when Snow Patrol are in town."
