SonyBMG revamp classical A&R

SonyBMG has created a more globally focused A&R structure for its classical division Masterworks, with Chris Craker running the new International Repertoire Center from New York and London.

SonyBMG announced last week that it was creating a new more globally focused A&R structure for its classical music division Masterworks. Former UK Head Of Classics Chris Craker will run the new International Repertoire Center which will have offices in both New York and London, and will look to sign more non-US talent and coordinate worldwide campaigns for existing artists, and especially those non-US artists whose music has often only been distributed in their home territories in the past.
