Spector jury selection resumes

Jury selection has resumed in the Phil Spector murder trial in LA, with around 200 potential jurors to be interviewed.

Jury selection in the old Phil Spector murder trial resumed in LA yesterday with 200 potential jurors still up for consideration - they will be interviewed this week to confirm their suitability. As the 200 hopefuls, I mean potentials, arrived for the start of the selection process the judge overseeing the case, Judge Larry Paul Fidler, told the potential jurors that should they end up on the jury that they must disregard any and all media coverage of the case (apart from our's surely, you couldn't hope for more balanced reporting) and only allow what they see and hear in the court room to affect their judgment as to whether the legendary producer shot dead actress Lana Clarkson at his LA home four years ago or whether, as he claims, the actress shot herself. Assuming the jury selection process goes without a hitch, the trial itself should begin on 30 Apr.
