Spector trial date set

Judge Larry Paul Fidler has set January as the trial date for Phil Spector, who denies murdering Lana Clarkson at his home in February 2003.

A date has finally been set for the Phil Spector trial, following myriad delays in bringing the murder case to court. Judge Larry Paul Fidler ruled that the legendary producer will appear in court in January to answer the charge of murdering Lana Clarkson at his home in Los Angeles in February of 2003. Spector, who, as previously reported, is currently on $1m bail, denies the charge, and is expected to maintain that the actress committed suicide.
