Springsteen sued over a horse

Olympic equestrian Todd Minikus is suing Bruce Springsteen and his wife Patti, claiming they reneged on a $650,000 deal to buy a horse for their daughter.

And more pop litigation, well, if you count rock icons being sued over horse purchases as pop litigation. Bruce Springsteen is being sued over allegations he reneged on a deal to buy a horse called Pavarotti for his daughter. Olympic equestrian Todd Minikus claims Springsteen and his wife Patti agreed to buy the horse for $650,000, but then pulled out of the deal. Minikus claims that put them in breach of contract, and that they now owe him for the horse, and for the horse's upkeep as the dispute rumbles on. Springsteen's people are yet to comment.
