Stone looks to parents to stop her living the rock n roll lifestyle

Joss Stone says her parents manage her earnings, paying her a modest wage so she cannot splash out on cocaine or other excesses.

And talking of rock stars' druggy ways, Joss Stone has reportedly insisted that her parents look after the small fortune she is building up through her music career, so that she isn't tempted to piss it all away living a rock n roll high life.

Apparently her parents give her a modest wage from the monies she makes, which she uses for those modest day to day purchases. Stone is quoted as saying: "If I wanted to buy ten pounds of cocaine, I wouldn't be able to, because they wouldn't let me - which is brilliant, I kind of want them to do that forever".

And well done her for being so responsible, although if rock n roll history is anything to go by teen starts entrusting their financial affairs to their parents is normally a recipe for disaster. We're making no comment about the lovely Mr & Mrs Stone here of course, but rock n roll parents do have a habit of pissing away their offspring's fortunes quicker than they ever could manage themselves.
