Strokes cancel Weezer tour dates after Casablancas knee injury

The Strokes have cancelled all five remaining US dates supporting Weezer after singer Julian Casablancas suffered a knee injury, with Weezer posting an update on their website.

The Stokes, who were due to support Weezer on a US tour, have cancelled all five dates because Strokes singer Julian Casablancas has a knee injury. On their wbesite Weezer say: "Today we got the inside scoop on Julian from the Strokes, whose injury is still quite nasty, which we sadly learned has forced them to cancel ALL their remaining scheduled dates on the Enlightenment Tour. Julian isn't even able to leave his home for now, but the rest of the Strokes came by to show their support and catch the big rock show. Well, I guess you win some and you lose some. Bummer."
