Student sues Lil Wayne over injury from money-throwing stunt

Fan Tyrique Layne is suing rapper Lil Wayne for £500,000, alleging a serious head injury after a stampede caused by Wayne throwing money into the crowd.

More litigation, and rap star Lil' Wayne is facing a lawsuit from a fan in relation to a stunt that involved giving away money - though not as much as the £500,000 being claimed in the lawsuit. The claim relates to an incident that occurred at a gig last October where Wayne and members of his entourage threw money into the crowd, causing a huge rush for the cash. The fan, Tyrique Layne, alleges that Wayne's generous gesture led to a "serious head injury" after he was crushed by the money-baited crowd, something that has led to frequent headaches and lapses in concentration, amongst other issues. Wayne and his posse are being sued for acting negligently in encouraging the stampede that injured the claimant. The rapper's people are yet to comment on the claim.
