So the festival season isn't quite over after all, as Cardiff presents the late-in-the-year SWN Festival, set to take place at venues around the city between the 9 and 11 Nov. Curated by that Huw Stephens chap, among the acts playing at various points over the weekend are the excellent bluesy rockers The Duke Spirit, the critical lauded Beirut, revered DJ David Holmes and remix master Andy Votel. Though perhaps most exciting is the Domino Records gig which will take place at the city's Barfly on the Friday night and which features Sons And Daughters, Eugene McGuiness and Correcto - all definitely worth a punt.
