Tatu's PR director, Beata Ardeeva, was involved in a car crash while holidaying in Turkey last week and is currently in a coma. Ardeeva has been credited with playing a major role in Tatu's success by helping them get international press coverage for their controversial image.
The girls (Julia Volkova and Lena Katina) are said to be extremely worried and have sent messages to the hospital, and their manager Ivan Shapovalov has flown to see her and to pay for her treatment.
A spokesperson at Ardeeva's office said "We can confirm that Beata Ardeeva has had a car crash but we can't tell you any more at the moment."
