TaTu promoter plans to sue duo's management

Promoter EEM Group plans to sue TaTu's management for £300,000, claiming unreasonable demands led to the cancelled gigs.

Reports just in that the promoters of those cancelled TaTu shows - EEM Group - are planning on suing the duo's management because they say "unachievable and numerous obstacles" put in place by said management led to the need to cancel - and they want £300,000 in compensation.

Talking to the BBC, promoter Andy Talakin claimed Tatu's management made unreasonable requests - like asking for 300 under-16 girls dressed in school uniforms for each of the gigs, that they refused to tell him about the content of the show, and then, at the last minute, they told him 17-year-old Julia Volkova would be unable to sing because of illness, but that they would "persuade" her to sing if they were paid more.

In the end the gigs were cancelled due to poor ticket sales - though the girls are still in the UK to promote new single 'Not Gonna Get Us'.
