No Tatu news for days, and then three bits come along at once.
First, the lesbian duo's pop svengali Ivan Shapovalov has been arrested for disturbing the peace after he arranged for 200 girls to amass in Moscow's Red Square for a video shoot - a copy of the London publicity stunt that got moved on from Westminster Bridge earlier this month because Parliament was in session. The female fans gathered outside the Kremlin and were asked to cavort and kiss in front of Lenin's tomb and the church of St Basil. Russian police said they had received complaints about the loud "squawking" of the teenage fans - Shapovalov was later reprimanded by a judge.
Second, GMTV's Lorraine Kelly has branded Tatu as "insulting and sad". Talking to Teletext about her upcoming stint as host of BBC3's Eurovision coverage Kelly said she didn't like the girl's Eurovision song, and that she reckons the "lesbian thing" is all a show: "They will get all the attention but the song is not particularly good. I hope they don't do anything silly, like pull silly stunts. It's on the cards but you just think 'Oh behave'."
Thirdly and finally Tatu will play at the MTV Movie Awards in a bid to break America. They will perform 'All The Things You Said' at the LA event, this year fronted by Justin Timberlake and Sean William Scott. The awards will be screened over here on 7 Jun.
