The NME has reported that The Automatic have announced that former Yourcodenameis:milo frontman Paul Mullen will be joining them as a new permanent member to replace Pennie who, as previously reported, quit the band last month. Yourcodenameis:milo announced they were on indefinite hiatus back in August. It is unclear if Mullen will take on Pennie's specific duties in the band - playing keyboards and jumping around in a generally irritating fashion - or whether he will have a different role. He sang and played guitar in his last band.
