The Cure to work with Ross Robinson on heavier album

The Cure are heading into the studio with producer Ross Robinson, whose credits include Korn, Slipknot and Limp Bizkit, for an album likely to sound heavier and due early next year.

The likelihood is that The Cure's next album is going to sound a lot heavier than previous material.

The band are heading into the studio to begin work on their forthcoming album with Ross Robinson – a man who has worked with Amen, Fear Factory, At The Drive-in, Blood Brothers, Machine Head, Korn, Sepultra, Soul Fly, Slipknot and Limp Bizkit.

The album is expected early next year.
