Help me here - did The Dears enjoy playing the first ever Canadian V Festival back in September or not? It's just not clear.
Here's what drummer George Donoso III told Jam Showbiz: "It was horrible and by far the darkest, cheapest and most ghetto festival ever. It was just so gross. The treatment was terrible. The whole reason for the festival is to sell cellphones. It's awful. We'll never do a V-Fest ever again".
Perhaps Virgin could use that on their poster next year.
