Portland's The Decemberists bring their shanties about pirates, odes to obscure Brooklyn novelists, and their love song about ankles to the UK for a short tour. The band's album 'Your Majesty', recorded with producer/engineer Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Sleater-Kinney, Go-Betweens) at Portland's famed Type Foundry Studios is out on 18 Oct. It will be preceded by a single 'Billy Liar' on 11 Oct.
