And yet more troubled personal lives of hip hop stars. The Game reportedly came to blows with a cousin at a family funeral last weekend. According to TMZ.com, The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, is accused of hitting cousin Robert Kirkwood at the funeral of his sister - another of Taylor's cousins presumably - on Saturday.
According to the gossip site, Kirkwood claims Taylor had originally offered to pay half of the $14,000 bill for his sister's burial, but had then stopped returning his phone calls, avoiding the issue of the payment and even changing his phone number.
Kirkwood got angry when Taylor showed up at the funeral and started talking to the congregation about family values and kinship. The cousin took the rapper to issue about his alleged hypocrisy, and having gone back on the burial payment commitment, and in the altercation that followed Taylor, Kirkwood claims, punched him. A police report has been filed by Kirkwood, but their investigations into the incident are ongoing. The Game's people are yet to comment.
