The Guardian launches music website sponsored by Intel

The Guardian has launched a music website with daily news, reviews, interviews and a podcast, sponsored by Intel for its first six months.

The Guardian has launched a music website featuring daily music news - yeah, that old thing. There'll be reviews and interviews too. Oh, and a daily blog and regular podcast. You'll find it at http://www.guardian.co.uk/music. Intel will sponsor the site for the first six months.

Confirming the new site and its sponsor, the Guardian's digital content supremo, Emily Bell, told the, erm, Guardian: "The scale of our sponsorship with Intel is a media first for us. Obviously we will retain editorial independence, but we will work with Intel to integrate their brand into the site on a number of different levels and at the same time offer added value to our users."
