The Strokes plan secret world club tour to preview new album

The Strokes begin a secret world club tour in Tokyo, previewing new songs in cities including London, before a full UK and North American tour starting in February.

As I've said so many times before, it's not a secret now, is it? Honestly. The Strokes are heading out on a 'secret' world club tour to preview tracks from their new album. They start today in Tokyo, before continuing on to visit Sydney, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin, Milan and Madrid. Guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. says "We'll do eight new songs and leave, just like how it was with the first record, with no one knowing any of our music."

So there you go. The London show is apparently going to happen at the end of the month. It precedes a full UK/North American tour starting in February. The much anticipated new album is out on 14 Jan, preceded by the single release 'Juicebox' on 5 Dec
