Thrash Hits to continue

Thrash Hits editor Raziq Rauf says the site is going nowhere after its Drowned In Sound and BSkyB joint venture ended, and that it has seen record figures.

Following the news that The Quietus and The Lipster would continue to run as independent websites, after their funding was pulled when the joint venture between Drowned In Sound and BSkyB, The Quietus Group, was abruptly brought to a close this week, the third site set up under the deal has revealed its future plans.

Thrash Hits editor Raziq Rauf told CMU: "Thrash Hits is going absolutely nowhere. In fact, we just celebrated our highest figures. The site is still a baby but is going from strength to strength and I believe in it. From a personal point of view, there is a huge and inescapable sense of denial. It's business as normal, as far as I'm concerned. Nobody's going to stop me".
