TI cleared by judge

Judge Daniel Perry has ended TI's probation, leaving the rapper free to resume touring, though his next performances are expected in the US.

TI appeared in court yesterday with regards to that previously reported probation violation that prevented him from setting out on his Japanese tour. The judge in the case, Daniel Perry, ended the probation, leaving the rapper free to return to his tour, though it seems he is unlikely to do so immediately. Confirming the state of affairs, TI's lawyer Jonathan Leonard said: "All prior legal matters have been resolved as it relates to TI's probation. He is no longer on probation for any previous legal incidents."

TI's tour was originally halted, of course, after the fatal shooting of his friend and assistant Philant Johnson on 3 May. His next scheduled performances are now expected to take place in the US.
