Toronto SARS benefit concert line-up and attendance update

Organisers now expect around 430,000 people at the 30 July Toronto concert, with the Stones headlining and Justin Timberlake, AC/DC and Rush also performing.

Although 500,000 people were expected at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto concert on 30 Jul, organisers now say the audience will likely be closer to 430,000 – though that's still a fair sized audience.

The show, which will include performances the Rolling Stones, Rush, Justin Timberlake and CMU favourites AC/DC amongst others, will be split into an afternoon and evening portion. Organisers say that artist sets will be seamless, and use a rotating stage to allow the next band to set up. Jim Belushi and Dan Aykroyd will host.

The running order so far: Sam Roberts, Kathleen Edwards, La Chicane, Tea Party, the Flaming Lips, Sass Jordan with Jeff Healey, the Isley Brothers, Blue Rodeo, Justin Timberlake, the Guess Who, Rush, AC/DC and finally the Stones.
