TourDates magazine plans national roll out

TourDates says its free LondonTourDates print spin-off now reaches 25,000 copies a fortnight, and it plans regional offices and a national roll-out in 2008.

Live music website tourdates.co.uk has announced it is now distributing 25,000 copies of its free print spin off, LondonTourDates, across the capital each fortnight which, by their maths, puts them ahead of the NME in terms of London circulation. The latest circulation figures come ahead of plans to expand the TourDates magazine around the country.

TourDates director Dean G Hill told CMU: "This is a pivotal moment for us, it is lovely to take on the big boys and score a fantastic victory. The magazine was launched as a partner to the Tourdates.co.uk website, profiling the best unsigned acts alongside big name stars, the publication has continued that brave ethos, placing new stars of the future alongside A-list interviews. Our next target is to eclipse NME's national circulation figure - we will soon do that - we are establishing regional offices around the country and we are rolling the publication out as a major national release in 2008".
