Truck Festival returns with new line-up

Truck Festival has announced a new line-up for its rescheduled 22 and 23 Sep dates, featuring Idlewild, Buck 65, Foals and The Early Years, after its original event was cancelled by flooding.

The previously cancelled Truck Festival has announced a new line-up for its rescheduled dates of 22 and 23 Sep, though, alas, it doesn't include the rumoured headliners The Flaming Lips. Not to worry, though, as the organisers have signed-up Scottish rockers Idlewild, Buck 65, Chris T-T Band, Foals, The Early Years and many more for what is set to be the last great festival of the summer. In fact, given the recent spates of good weather, it might even be lucky enough to get some sunshine - hurrah (talking of which, forecast for Bestival is looking good - double hurrah!).

As previously reported, Truck's original 2007 event was cancelled following extreme flooding at the site, with some of the line-up going on to play a special one-off gig at a local venue simply because many had travelled so far. The rescheduled date does mean no Brian Jonestown Massacre (the previous headliners), but given Truck's excellent reputation amongst the most dedicated musos the recently released spare tickets will surely be snapped up in no time.
