Independent download site TuneTribe officially launches at a party in London later today. As previously reported, TuneTribe was founded by Groove Armada's Tom Findlay and internet entrepreneur John Strickland and aims to provide a download service that is particularly friendly to independent artists and labels, and music fans who desire good independent music (though they will be selling music from some of the majors too). Their site soft launched back in Apr, with former Jockey Slut editor Rob Wood in charge of the editorial side of things, however the site will kick off proper today.
