Rumours on the web suggest that Van Halen might be the next band to recruit a new frontman via the Rock Star TV franchise. INXS, of course, found their new frontman through the global reality TV search, and TV execs are reportedly looking for another frontman-less band with which to make a second series of the show. Alice In Chains were reportedly up for consideration, though the band's guitarist, Jerry Cantrell, has denied those reports. Now Van Halen are favourites to appear, with Eddie and Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony all allegedly on board for the show. It's a shame David Lee Roth will be busy with his new Howard-Stern-replacing radio show in New York - he could have auditioned.
