Van Zant thinks E Street album will happen soon

E Street guitarist Steven Van Zandt tells Spinner he has a feeling a new Springsteen and E Street Band album will come sooner rather than later.

Steven Van Zandt says that he thinks Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band might be ready to work on a new album. The last release involving both the singer and the band was 2001's 'Live In New York City' LP, but now the E Street guitarist says he thinks a new album is going to happen soon.

He told Spinner: "We gotta make a record, which could happen soon. I don't have any reason to say this other than my own instinct but I just get a vibe it's going to be sooner than later. [Springsteen] literally could call me today, we could have a new album out and be on the road within three months."
