Warp classical show gets a Radio 3 airing

BBC Radio 3 will broadcast the recording of the Warp Works and 20th Century Masters concert, featuring classical renditions of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Squarepusher, on 26 April.

Here's a radio show worth checking out, and it's on BBC Radio 3! You may recall the Warp Works and 20th Century Masters concert that took over the Royal Festival Hall last month with classical renditions of tracks by the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Squarepusher. Well, the BBC recorded the show and Radio 3 have confirmed they will be airing the recording on 26 Apr at 10.45pm. The show also featured performances of works from Twentieth Century avant-garde composers such as Gyorgy Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Conlon Nancarrow and Charles Ives, as well as Mira Calix, who performed a piece entitled 'Nunu', live with the London Sinfonietta.
