This one should be interesting. Warp have teamed up with the London based new music ensemble Sinfonietta to stage a night at the Royal Festival Hall on 8 Mar (part of the Ether festival) which will see the Sinfonietta performing pieces from Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Squarepusher, as well as music from Twentieth Century avant-garde composers such as Gyorgy Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Conlon Nancarrow and Charles Ives. The concert will also include Mira Calix who will perform a piece ‘Nunu’ live with the ensemble. More info at www.londonsinfonietta.org.uk
