A Dutch weblogger is encouraging his fellow country men to fill out a form asking the country's main copyright protection agency, BREIN, if they hold any personal data on them. According to Dutch privacy law the organisation is obliged to answer each of those requests within four weeks. Weblogger Geen Stijl is hoping to cause administrative mayhem at the royalty body, which is currently fighting the Dutch internet service providers in the courts in a bid to discover the identities of 42 suspected file sharers. Fun fun.
