Westlife plan to go on indefinitely

Westlife's Nicky Byrne says the band will continue as long as fans keep buying records, while manager Louis Walsh expects at least two more albums.

As if there weren't enough problems in the world, Westlife have announced they will stay together as long as fans continue to buy their records. Speaking at the Metero Ireland Music Awards where they were named Best Irish Pop Act the group's Nicky Byrne told reporters: "The funny thing about Westlife at the minute is there is no end in sight. The four of us love what we do and we get on. We are going to finish when we want to finish, when the fans stop buying our records."

Westlife manager Louis Walsh, who says he will form a new boyband with

Westlife singer Kian Egan when Westlife do call it a day, says he reckons the Westlife boys have at least another two albums in them. Puts all that war and hunger into perspective, doesn't it.
