Westlife fella Kian Egan has proposed to his girlfriend Jodi Albert, who used to be in Hollyoaks I think. The two got engaged on Christmas Day. The Westlifer told reporters "I'm over the moon that Jodi said yes and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her". I can't help thinking that in this day and age recently engaged guys should say something more like "I look forward to spending much of the foreseeable future with her", it being a more statistically realistic statement. But you know, whatever, many congratulations to the happy couple and all that.
