The release of a new video by Will.I.AM celebrating Barack Obama's election victory got delayed by a couple of days. 'It's A New Day' was supposed to get its first airing on 5 Nov, but will now debut on The Oprah Winfrey Show today. The Black Eyed Pea has of course been a consistently outspoken supporter of the president elect over the course of his campaign, previously releasing a video in which fellow music celebrities sang the words of Obama's famous 'Yes We Can' speech.
Will.I.Am says of the new track: "This was inspired by America. It's about Obama winning, and really paying tribute to those people who are responsible for that happening, and that's the American people".
