According to the tabloids, Amy Winehouse has got engaged to her on-off boyfriend Blake Fielder Civil. She apparently admitted as much after a ring was spotted on her engagement finger, and has been quoted as saying: "I'm a very lucky girl to have found someone I love so much. I hope to be with him for the rest of my life. We haven't set a date yet or anything like that".
Meanwhile, The Mirror says that Winehouse's ex, Alex Claire, has been claiming via his MySpace that Amy's driven him to drink and drugs. It seems that he looked like a sure thing until Fielder Civil arrived back on the scene, and he's a bit bitter that Winehouse moved on. He apparently (I can't find the MySpace) wrote "I had a nice day with my ex Amy, everything was sweet, then she went to some party and I found out she's with her ex. Life can have a way of kickin you in the teeth. Trying to filter through all the bullshit and can't write anymore songs about the bitch, because I've covered all my emotions, so I'm gonna find myself a new muse".
He adds: "Although the future was looking bright, turns out, I was gravely mistaken. Skint, heartbroken and homeless - bad luck comes in threes as the old saying goes, but shit, what's a man to do".
