Wins big bro

Happy Mondays' Bez has won Celebrity Big Brother, beating Blazin Squad's Kenzie, who was the bookies' favourite.

So, it seems, the Madchester faithful are still, well, faithful.

And unlike the average Blazin Squad fan, most Happy Monday followers are now of an age where they don't have to ask for the permission of the bill payer before they call a premium rate vote line.

All of which means that Bez, the original favourite to win Celeb

Big Brother was, in the end, victorious, despite the fact the bookies, media and other housemates were convinced throughout much of the actual series that Blazin Squad's Kenzie would win.

Then again, while the sexually frustrated 19 year old rapper managed to go 18 days without a "shag" (a feat that dominated conversation on a number of occasions towards the end of the series), poor Bez went 18 days without a smoke, which (assuming the Holy Moly 'he smuggled in drugs' rumours aren't true) was surely the bigger achievement.

Plus, of course, while Bez takes home the prize money from the Big

Brother contest, surely Kenzie got the biggest career boost from the show. And while the rapper seems fully committed to his Blazin Squad, surely any manager worth his 10% will be planning a side project solo career for the young Big Brother MC given his new audience of loyal fans.
