Following that poll by rock radio station Planet Rock where listeners, when given a chance to vote for their favourite rock supergroup, ended up voting for the whole Led Zepp line up (ie they independently voted for each Led Zepp member in polls of their favourite singer, guitarist, bassist and drummer), a similar thing has happened in a poll of Xfm Online readers - only they have picked each of the members of Muse in a best singer / guitarist / bassist / drummer survey.
However, before Muse get too bigheaded, Xfm are pretty sure some dodgy voting has been going on after discovering a Muse message board which told fans how to tweak their PCs so they could vote a multiple number of times in the survey, so in their analysis Xfm are discounting the Muse votes, meaning you end up with a supergroup made up Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (on vocals and guitar respectively), Oasis' Andy Bell on bass and Dave Grohl on drums. All of which makes the thought of having Muse as your supergroup a lot more appealing. Anyway, here's the top five for each category.
