Xfm is returning to South Wales. Sort of. Following the sale of the Welsh outpost of GCap's alternative radio service to Town & Country Broadcast and its almost immediate relaunch as Nation Radio, GCap has got permission from media regulator OfCom to put the London version of Xfm onto the digital radio network in Cardiff and Newport, meaning those missing the station in the region can listen to it, albeit without the Welsh programmes and providing their have a DAB radio.
