Bad news for the indie sector, especially on the dance side, following the news that UK based indie distributor Amato has gone into liquidation. Amato did distribution - physical and digital - for indie labels like Border Community, BPitch Control, Crosstown Rebels and Kompakt. There is still no official comment on the company's demise on its website, though that may follow this week.
