The Joshua Hotel released their second EP ‘Oblivion Days’, a collection of four tracks that are a perfect soundtrack for the emergence of the spring sunshine. Meanwhile, introspective lyrics covering existentialism, sexuality and nihilistic escape are the perfect accompaniment to the nagging dread that this might be all the sun we’ll see this year.
The band’s layered and clever approach to classic pop songwriting has won them plenty of early fans, with word continuing to spread fast. And you can expect to hear even more as they approach the release of their debut album on the excellent Last Night From Glasgow label this summer.
