How things change. Now two former Spice Girls are relying on the pop manager they fired at the peak of their careers to secure them new global success. A few months after Emma Bunton re-signed to Simon Fuller's 19 Management now the Beckhams have signed a deal with ex-Spice Girls manager hoping he will turn them into the world's biggest stars.
The real challenge for the Beckhams seems to be the US. Victoria and David recently tried to crack America and even presented an award at the MTV Movie Awards, but the response was less than enthusiastic. The family have been better received in Japan, where David made around £5m filming ads for a variety of products including beauty salons, engine oil and a second hand car sales company. But Fuller seems to think David's move to Madrid opens up a number of new avenues in the worlds of entertainment and advertising – and word has it he's even been talking about Hollywood.
Meanwhile Victoria has been back in the studio, this time with Roc A Fella's Damon Dash, working on 'It's Not That Simple'. Word is she will be working with Dane Bowers again on some new material too. No word yet on when any of this will be released.
