Carling have announced the launch of a new competition for DJs, the winners of which will get a place on the decks at the Carling Cold Beer Amnesty at the Rockness Festival or the Isle Of Wight Festival the following week. The brand are asking up and comers to submit a fifteen minute mix, along with their top ten tunes. The two winners, in addition to getting the slot at one of the aforementioned festivals, will also get VIP passes for the relevant festival for them and a friend. The deadline for submissions for the slot at Rockness (7- 8 Jun) is 1 Jun, and submissions for the Isle of Wight (13 – 15 Jun) slot need to be in by 8 Jun.
