Celine Dion is to receive a special award at Wednesday's World Music Awards in Las Vegas for being the top-selling female artist of all time. The Journal de Montreal says the singer will be handed the Diamond Award which honours artists who have sold more than 100 million albums during their musical career. Previous winners of the Diamond Award include Mariah Carey and Rod Stewart, which says a lot about the world's music buying population. Dion has received seven World Music Awards so far in her career. Hollywood actor Michael Douglas is expected to present the singer with her special award on Wednesday.
