Awards news now, and former American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry may not have won the pop talent show, but he did well at the public voted American Music Awards this weekend, winning Breakthrough Artist, Favourite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favourite Pop/Rock Album with his band Daughtry.
The triple win put him ahead of Justin Timberlake, who took two gongs at the awards fest, Favourite Pop-Rock Artist and Favourite Soul/R&B Album for 'FutureSex/Love Sounds'. Another former American Idol contestant - a winner this time - also won two awards, Carrie Underwood took Favourite Female Country Artist and Favourite Country Album.
