Cream involved in radio licence bid

Cream is working with Absolute Radio on bids for two FM licences in Cornwall and the West Midlands, to be branded Jump FM, and is moving its Brighton night to the Honey Club.

Cream have confirmed they are working with radio company Absolute Radio in a bid for two FM radio licences, one in Cornwall and one in the West Midlands. If successful the stations would be branded Jump FM and would be geared towards the youth market, probably following a Galaxy style formula. Cream’s role in the stations would be as long-term content and brand managers.

Elsewhere in the Cream empire, the club promoters are moving their Brighton night, formerly at Concorde2, to the bigger Honey Club next month to cope with demand for the sell out night. The first night at the new venue will take place on 7 Feb with resident Louis Edwards joined by Yousef and Paul Hillyer.
