Dave Grohl has reiterated his dream to play drums for the recently reformed Led Zeppelin, a statement that he must issue at least, what, five times a year. The hardcore Zep fan told NME.com that he is at "their beck and call" and that he'd been more than willing to put any Foos work on hold for a few days to perform with Robert Plant and co. However, with original Zeppelin drummer John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham, currently lined-up for the drumming role at the band's much hyped reunion, the Foo Fighters' frontman also acknowledged that he didn't expect it to happen: "Jason should be the one. Everyone knows that. He's a fucking phenomenal drummer".
Grohl's own band look set to claim the number one spot on the UK album chart this weekend with their new effort, 'Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace'. Outselling soft-rock king James Blunt by two to one (remember, no jokes here - it's too easy) the Foos have also announced an additional Nottingham Arena date to their UK tour.
The Foos will visit (potential Led Zeppelin commitments permitting)...
