DJ poll relaunches

DJ Mag launches its Top 100 DJs poll at a party at AKA on 18 Aug, with about 100,000 votes expected.

God the years spin round quickly don't you think? I say this because DJ Mag are about to kick off their latest Top 100 DJs poll, and it doesn't seem three and half seconds since the last one. The latest poll will officially begin at a party at AKA on 18 Aug, when Giles Smith (secretsundaze), Paul Woolford (Basics/Space Ibiza) and Tim Sheridan (Nastydirtysexmusic) will be on the decks. Dance music fans all over the world will then be invited to vote for their favourite DJs, with 100,000 people expected to vote this time.

Commenting on the survey, DJ Mag editor Lesley Wright: "Everyone who loves dance music can get involved. This is the public's chance to vote for those DJs who have rocked their world over the past 12 months. The Top 100 DJs is the clubbers' choice."

There'll be more info on the survey in the next issue of DJ Mag and, presumably, online at http://www.djmag.com
