Irish music festival Electric Picnic has been voted 'Love If The Year 2005' in a poll run by Hot Press, Ireland's top-selling music magazine. Other music events in the top ten included U2's Meteor award winning shows at Croke Park at number 2, the Oxegen festival at number 6 and Live 8 at number 9.
The widely praised Electric Picnic is back, as previously reported, for its third year in 2006, and is to be extended to a three day event, set to take place from 1- 3 Sep.
