London indie Fierce Panda, which recently launched a Canadian division, has signed a distribution deal with Toronto-based Fontana North covering its Canadian releases.

London independent label Fierce Panda have recently launched a Canadian division, and yesterday they announced a distribution deal with Toronto-based Fontana North. The alliance will enable Fierce Panda to better distribute music from the likes of Hot Puppies, iLiKETRAiNS and My Architects within the Canadian market. Confirming the deal, Fontana North GM Matt Smallwood told reporters: "We couldn't be happier to have signed Fierce Panda Canada to Fontana North. The Fierce Panda label essentially represents all the bands I've loved and enjoyed over the past ten years."
