Who are we looking for?
The Cosa Nostra UK office is looking for a passionate, motivated, and tenacious publicist to take responsibility for managing their own publicity campaigns and to support the company directors with campaigns across the wider client base when needed.
This could be you, if you have:
- a proven track record in media relations, managing your own publicity campaigns, preferably within the music industry.
- a keen interest in and knowledge of the ever-changing media landscape and your finger on the pulse of new and developing media trends and opportunities.
- exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- excellent time management skills.
- the ability to work under pressure, think on your feet, and meet tight deadlines.
- experience with heavy music genres and familiarity with the music industry’s dynamics.
- the ability to take initiative and make informed decisions quickly, confidently, and effectively.
- strong relationships with editors, music journalists, and freelance writers.
- proficiency in basic productivity software such as Google Docs/Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) and CRM software such as Constant Contact. An understanding of digital music servicing (Haulix, iPool etc) is desirable.
- a thorough understanding of the artist/publicist relationship and an appreciation of the importance of maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour with artists and their teams at all times.
What will you be doing?
- developing and executing comprehensive publicity campaigns for artists and events.
- cultivating and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- attending meetings (in-person or virtual) with management teams, record labels, and artists.
- creating and distributing press releases, media kits, and promotional materials.
- coordinating interviews, press conferences, promo days, and media appearances.
- handling media accreditation for tours and live events.
- attending concerts, festivals, and events at which our clients are performing.
- monitoring media coverage and providing detailed reports to clients.
- managing crisis communication and reputation management.
- supporting company directors as needed

Where and when will you be working?
This is a full-time UK based role. You will be working remotely from home, with regular contact with the other members of the UK and US teams.
You will need:
- easy access to a fast and reliable Internet connection.
- to be within easy commutable distance to London for client meetings and events.
- the ability to manage your time and working hours to meet the needs of client projects.
