The Sun claims that Kasabian are to write and record England's official 2006 World Cup song after being talked into it Sky sports presenter Tim Lovejoy. A 'source' said: "Tim is good mates with [band members] Serge and Tom and they had joked about doing the song in the past. It was mentioned again recently and this time they decided to go for it. The FA have given the plan the green light so the idea is now up and running."
